Ms. X is appointed as a professor at a university. Shortly after taking up the post, she has a long conversation with her colleague, Professor Y. She would like to get to know him better and talk through some teaching issues. Professor Y explains that coeducation is a mistake. Boys are “feminized” in daycare centers and schools and are no longer allowed to be “real boys.” Both horrified and curious, Ms. X asks what being a “real boy” is about. “Boys,” Professor X explains, “should smash each other’s faces in from time to time.”
